The objective of this study is to assess how varying levels of cycling infrastructure impact parental perceptions of safety regarding cycling as a means of transport for primary school children. We invite parents of primary school children in Ireland, who are over 18 years of age, to complete a series of questions. Their responses will help identify barriers to cycling and provide valuable insights for shaping public transport and active travel policies.

All collected data will be anonymised to ensure that no personally identifiable information is included in the results, and the study will adhere to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidelines to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of participants' information.

This research is a collaborative effort between Trinity College Dublin and Atlantic Technological University.
