We have developed a draft Transport Strategy for the Wakefield district and are seeking your views and feedback before it is finalised. Your responses will help us refine the Strategy and ensure it reflects the needs and priorities of those who live, work and travel in the area.
Our draft Strategy sets out a vision for a transport network, which is sustainable, healthy, safe, accessible and more inclusive. It sets out the priorities for travel and transport infrastructure up to 2040 and will form the basis for decision-making across the district.
