INFORMED CONSENT FORM

For the online questionnaire/survey "Citizens’ awareness and acceptance of mass community disease detection testing "

1 – Brief information about the research activity within the ONELAB Project

ONELAB focuses on designing and coordinating mobile laboratory operations for the detection and identification of infectious agents. Integrated data communication will support multi-agency decision making for potential pandemic preparedness and response. Modular laboratories will be developed to accommodate flexible and scalable scenario deployments in a range of settings. Advanced measurement systems for disease detection response will provide a panel of acute viral infection biomarkers enables early detection of disease during its asymptomatic incubation. Proven methodologies developed in response to COVID-19 will be used to develop and demonstrate a workflow for semi-autonomous disease specific biomarker discovery. As a result, ONELAB solution will provide point-of-need disease detection, along with high-level situational awareness. For this to be successfully achieved, input from experts around the world is required as it is essential to understand existing needs and gaps, strengths and weaknesses as qualitative input for improved disaster management.
