Dimensions of Caregiving |
Participant Leaflet
Why?
We are researching the experience of parents caring for their child with a long-term health condition to better understand how best to support this population in various parts of life, such as personally, professionally, and socially. While there are no direct benefits to participating in this study, you might gain more insight into your caregiving situation, as well as give feedback for how interventions can better support you and your child.
What?
This study will consist of a few surveys that ask about your experiences caregiving, engaging in employment, and personal care. There are some open-ended questions at the end that give you space to elaborate on your answers.
Who?
To be eligible for this study you must be a parent and primary caregiver for your child living with a chronic mental or physical health condition. It should be noted that this study does not cover neuro-developmental disabilities, as that is beyond the scope of this study.
Where?
The survey will be conducted virtually.
How/when?
The survey should take no more than 20 minutes to complete.
