Why completing this questionnaire is important...

Completing this questionnaire will help Suffolk Mind to ensure that we do not directly or indirectly discriminate against anyone because of who they are.

Equality and inclusion are about ensuring that every individual is treated fairly and feels valued.

By promoting equality and diversity, Suffolk Mind hopes to improve participation for all. Suffolk Mind aims to treat all staff, volunteers, service users, partners and members of the public equally and with respect.

What will happen with the information?

Information will be analysed and compared with local, regional and national data. For example, the number of women employed by Suffolk Mind could be compared to the number of women employed in the health and care sector in Suffolk.

If it is found that our people are not representative of the wider community we will carry out an equality impact assessment. This assessment will focus on a service, process or policy to determine whether there are steps we can take to improve inclusivity.
